-Petar Nikoloski, ICT in Education Coordinator, talks about the lower and upper primary teacher training implemented by PEP as well as the upcoming activities of the project.
-PEP begins establishing Career Corners (CC) in selected primary schools. The concept of the Career Corners will expand on the Career and Entrepreneurship Education that has been piloted in 6 primary schools across Macedonia. First two Career Corners will be open in PS “J.A. Komenski” Skopje and P.S. “Sv. Kliment Ohridski”, Bitola. On 19.11.2010 students from both
schools were working on painting the rooms where CC will be located (few photos attach ed). The TV station TERA from Bitola has covered the activity in P.S. Sv. Kliment Ohridski and made an interview with students and teachers for the main news
The equipment, books and materials have been purchased and will be placed in CC’s at the beginning of December.
Next weekend (26-28 November) PEP workshop for teachers and school psychologists from 6 pilot schools will be deliver. Main focus will be on:
Development of career competencies in students
Implementation of Career education activities in primary schools and
Career Corner services and resources.
Last Thursday, the entrepreneurship project “Let’s play business” realized by students from PEP’s pilot school Sv. Kliment Ohridski, was presented in Bitola as a part of the EU “Global Entrepreneurship week”.
In this interview Mr. Prenton talks about his experience during the four years time spent in Macedonia, his impressions about the local culture, customs, educational system etc. PEP team wishes all the best to Mr. Prenton on his next job assignment, and thanks him for the hard work he had put in order to make this project as successful as possible.
