UMD Supports Toshe's Benefit Concert

Based on the understanding of importance of improved education in Macedonia, Academy for Educational Development (AED), United Macedonia Diaspora (UMD), AWARD Entertainment Production and Project for Primary Education (PEP) will work together in joint fundraising activities and campaign aimed at supporting the benefit concert. All collected money will go to primary schools in Macedonia.
Award is an independent production company that has been working for three years in Macedonia. Their corporate mission is to provide top quality production services and maintain long-term relations with clients. Award works in the areas of film and video production, audio production, and organizing events. Award is the official manager for Tose Proeski and is responsible for all of Tose’s music events, corporate sponsors and recording ventures.

UMD works on addressing the interests and needs of Macedonians and Macedonian communities throughout the world. UMD fosters the unity of the Macedonian people by ensuring the progress and advancement of the traditional Macedonian spiritual, historical, and socio-cultural heritage furthered by charitable, educational, public, and other community-minded endeavors.
Memorandum of Understanding between AED and UMD has been signed on July 13, 2007. The beneficiaries of the activities pursued under this MoU are schools, people and communities being served by the USAID PEP program. By joining efforts, AED and UMD hope that the impact and the quality of the education reform effort will be strengthened and its likelihood for sustainability improved at the community level.
