Phase Three of PEP School Renovations Begins

The implementation of the phases One and Two from the Component Renovations of USAID/PEP are successfully finished. Better learning environment was created in forty primary schools in Macedonia.
We are announcing the start of the phase three which will be implemented from September 2008 to September 2009. In this phase USAID/PEP will manage and finance the renovation of 36 schools in Macedonia. All primary schools in Macedonia that offer full education (1-9 grade) are qualified for getting funds for renovation.
Those municipalities that have not used financial resources from USAID/PEP in the previous two phases will have priority.
The submitting of the applications will start from September 15th and will last to October 17th 2008. All applications received after this date will not be taken into consideration.
The applications MUST be submitted by the municipality and not by the schools directly.
